Raranga Hou

Join us for a welcoming, hands-on day of raranga in Kirikiriroa/Hamilton.

This full-day wānanga is suitable for complete beginners. Participants will be introduced to foundational raranga techniques, tikanga, the respectful preparation and use of weaving materials, and the use of kuku and haehae tools.

No previous raranga experience is required.

Participant information

After completing your payment, you will be asked to provide via email (if there is more than ticket purchase made as well as for an individual) the names of everyone attending, along with any dietary, allergy or accessibility requirements.

A google form will be sent to you.

One registration purchases one participant place.

If registering more than one person, select the total number of places required before checking out.

Free parking provided at the venue.

Cancellations and transfers

Registrations may be transferred to another person.

As materials and catering are prepared in advance, refund requests must be received before 5.00 pm on Wednesday 12 August 2026. Refunds requested after this date will be considered and are upto Tutu Toi regarding where the place can be filled by another participant or not.

If the wānanga is cancelled or postponed by Tutu Toi, registered participants will be offered a full refund or the opportunity to transfer their registration.

Your place is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed.
